Cat8 is made of 4 Pairs 100% 26WAG or 28AWG pure and thick shielded twisted pair (SSTP) of copper wires with two RJ45 connectors on each end. RJ45 connectors with gold plating ensure universal connectivity. Compared with round cables, with OD: 3.2*9.2mm Cat8 flat Ethernet cable is more flexible, which can be run under the carpet or bent through corners or into a desk, helping to avoid tangled cords.

Cat8 achieves a data transmission speed of 40 Gigabits and bandwidth up to 2000Mhz. At the same time, it is Backward Compatible with Cat7/Cat6/Cat6a/Cat5e.
